The NMAX 125 is Yamaha's big-wheel city scooter: practical, understated, often in the same few colours. A graphics kit gives it personality without changing what you like about it.

Updated 30 October 2026
The NMAX 125 arrived in 2015. In 2021 Yamaha replaced it entirely: new bodywork, new frame, Euro 5 engine and connectivity. For graphics, it's the body change that matters: a kit drawn for one doesn't fit the other, even though the name stays the same.
| Generation | Model years | What matters for graphics |
|---|---|---|
| NMAX 125 (1st generation) | 2015 to 2020 | First bodywork |
| NMAX 125 (2nd generation) | 2021 onwards | All-new bodywork and frame |
Our ready-to-fit NMAX 125 kits are listed for 2014-2024, so they cover both generations: a side photo before ordering avoids any surprise.
The NMAX doesn't have the big side panels of an XMAX or TMAX. Its panels are smaller and more curved, with a fair amount of black plastic. A good kit works on the smooth, visible areas:
The NMAX has a lot of textured black plastic. Vinyl won't hold on it: don't try to cover those areas, play on the contrast instead.
On a compact scooter, readability comes first. A design like ENERGY or FLOW livens up the silhouette, REPLICA gives a race feel and VINTAGE a retro touch that suits the big wheels.
The NMAX is a daily ride and often parked outside. A kit that leaves some of the original colour visible ages better and stays elegant.
Using NMAXs for deliveries or your business? A kit in your colours turns each scooter into a moving ad: read the fleet guide. For a one-off design, test your ideas in the design studio then go custom.
The parts are smaller than on a maxi-scooter: fitting is quicker, but the curves need patience. Warm the film slightly on the bends, without overdoing it. The step-by-step is in the fitting guide. To compare with the XMAX and TMAX, read the maxi-scooter guide.
The NMAX changed bodywork in 2021. Our kits are listed for 2014-2024: send a side photo and we'll confirm the kit for your generation.
No. They're two different scooters with nothing in common in their bodywork. Choose the kit for your model.
Yes, that's custom work: logo, colours and numbers on several identical scooters. Contact the workshop with the number of scooters and your logo.
It's quicker than on a maxi-scooter because the parts are smaller, but the curves need a calm hand. With our fitting guide it's doable; otherwise, fitting is available at the Fez workshop.
