The Aerox has been Yamaha's sporty 50 cc since 1997. Pre-2013 models are still widely ridden, often with plastics marked by the years: a graphics kit is the simplest way to give them character again.

Yamaha launched the Aerox in Europe in 1997, in 50 and 100 cc, with a liquid-cooled two-stroke engine. It's the twin of the MBK Nitro, sold by Yamaha's French subsidiary. In 2003 it became the Aerox R: the 100 was dropped, and the 50 got a new exhaust, a rev counter and new ignition. In 2013 Yamaha changed the bodywork and also launched the Aerox Naked and the four-stroke Aerox 4.
| Version | Years | What matters for graphics |
|---|---|---|
| Aerox 50 / 100 | 1997 to 2002 | First bodywork |
| Aerox R | 2003 to 2012 | Same silhouette, mechanical updates |
| Aerox, new bodywork | 2013 onwards | Different plastics: see the Aerox Nitro page |
Our "Aerox" kits are listed for 2000-2009 and target this first silhouette. Exact years vary by source and market: send a side photo before ordering, we'll confirm the kit fits.
Aerox and Nitro are the same scooter under two brands. Within the same generation, the bodywork is the same, so an Aerox kit can fit a Nitro of the same era. One condition, as always: a photo to check.
An old Aerox often has scratched, cracked or repainted plastics. Vinyl follows the surface: it doesn't hide a crack, it outlines it. Repair or replace damaged parts before fitting, and degrease thoroughly.
The Aerox was born sporty: dynamic designs like FLOW follow its sharp lines. For an old-school look that stands out, VINTAGE. Want your own colours, a number or your name? Try them in the design studio, then ask for a custom kit.
On a 50 cc the parts are small and numerous: take your time on each curve and warm the film slightly, without overdoing it, so it hugs the shape.
Fit in the shade, on clean, dry plastic, piece by piece. The step-by-step is in the fitting guide, care tips in the sun care guide. Before changing your scooter's look, a glance at the regulations guide doesn't hurt.
No. The Aerox bodywork changed in 2013. For a recent model, see our Aerox Nitro kits and send a photo to check.
Aerox and Nitro are the same scooter under two brands. Within one generation the bodywork is identical, so an Aerox kit should fit. A photo lets us confirm.
Yes, if they faithfully copy the original shapes. Aftermarket plastics can differ slightly: send a photo and we'll tell you if the kit fits.
That's a different scooter with unrelated bodywork. For it, we design a custom kit from photos.
