TMAX 530: three faces in eight years
The TMAX 530 arrived in 2012 with a 530 cc engine and new bodywork. In 2015 Yamaha gave it a new front end: sharper twin LED headlights set higher, and a central diffuser replacing the old position light. In 2017 came an all-new generation: lighter chassis, redesigned bodywork, SX and DX versions.

Same name, different parts
A kit drawn for a 2017 TMAX 530 won't necessarily fit a 2013, and vice versa. The side panels and the front changed: don't go by the "TMAX 530" name alone.
The parts that make the difference
- Side panels: the TMAX's biggest surface. Stripes, fades and numbers live here.
- Front fairing: a graphic detail around the headlights changes the scooter's look.
- Rear cowl: what traffic sees, ideal for a name or logo.
- Front mudguard: it carries the design down to the wheel.
Avoid the textured black plastic (lower panels, inner leg shield): vinyl won't stay on it. Floorboards wear under your shoes.
Which style for your TMAX 530?
- Race: REPLICA borrows from racing liveries, perfect on the 530's sporty lines.
- Dynamic: ENERGY or FLOW play on movement and follow the bodywork's edges.
- Retro: VINTAGE for a TMAX that looks like no other on the seafront.

Plan half a day out of the sun, and ideally a helper for the long side panels. Degrease, position dry, then squeegee from the centre out. The TMAX 530 was fully redesigned in 2017 (SX and DX versions). Send a side photo: we'll confirm which kit in our 2013-2019 range matches, or offer a custom kit.
Will a TMAX 530 kit fit a TMAX 560?
Not without checking. The 2020-2021 TMAX 560 is close to the 2017 530, but the 2022 model has completely different bodywork. See the TMAX 560 page and send a photo.
How long does fitting take on a TMAX 530?
Allow half a day or more, depending on the number of parts and your experience. Work in the shade, take your time, ideally with two people for the side panels. Fitting is also available at the Fez workshop.
Will the kit survive the Moroccan sun?
Well-fitted vinyl on a clean surface lasts a long time, but sun is still its main enemy. Park in the shade when you can and follow our care guide.
