BW's at Yamaha, Booster at MBK: the little scooter with an off-road look, fat tyres and twin headlights has been a 50 cc classic since the late 1980s. With a graphics kit, it takes on your style.

Yamaha's BW's and MBK's Booster are the same scooter, sold under two brands. It reached Europe in the late 1980s with its urban-adventurer look. Over the years the family grew: 12-inch wheel versions in 1995, then a new generation from 2004 (Booster Spirit and BW's Naked in parts catalogues), built until the mid-2010s.
| Version | Years (approx.) | What matters for graphics |
|---|---|---|
| Original BW's / Booster | late 1980s to 2003 | Several body variants |
| BW's / Booster Spirit (2004 generation) | 2004 to 2016-2018 | The base of our ready-to-fit kits |
| Later versions | after | Check with a photo |
Sources don't always agree on exact years: our kits are listed for 2004-2018. A side photo and a front photo are enough for us to confirm the right kit.
The BW's has a lot of textured black plastic. Vinyl won't hold on it: a good kit plays on the contrast between those raw areas and the decorated smooth panels.
Its off-road look takes almost anything. RACE and ELECTRO for energy, FUN for loud colours, VINTAGE for a back-to-basics look, FLOW for softer lines.
A kit is also a great way to refresh a used scooter with faded plastics. Repair cracks first: vinyl doesn't hide them.
Your name, your number, your neighbourhood colours? Try them in the design studio, then order a custom kit.
The parts are small and very curved: warm the film slightly on the bends, squeegee from the centre out, no rush. The step-by-step is in the fitting guide, care tips in the sun care guide. Before changing your scooter's look, also check the regulations guide.
In principle yes: BW's and Booster are the same scooter under two brands. Within one generation the plastics are the same. Send a photo so we can confirm.
Our kits target the 2004-2018 generation. For an older model, we design a custom kit from photos of your scooter.
Not recommended: vinyl bonds poorly to textured plastic and lifts. The kits target the smooth panels.
Replacement plastics can have slightly different shapes from the originals. Send a photo before ordering and we'll tell you if the kit fits.
